Wemco Chopper Pumps Model CF

Designed from scratch as a WEMCO pump, the new Chop-Flow pump brings the chopper pumps' segment the same kind of user-friendly pumps you've trusted from WEMCO for over 50 years - rugged, reliable, dependable, and maintenance free.  Pumps are available in horizontal, submersible and vertical dry-pit configurations.

Benefits of the WEMCO CF Chop-Flow Pumps:

		Cutter Bar/Wear Plate A one-piece, easily replaceable, ridged cutting bar. The cutter bar is made of hardened tool steel has one continuous cutter bar across the center for increased strength, reliability for life.
		Impeller Impeller has uniquely connected vanes at the eye, creating additional chopping edges.   It is threaded onto the shaft with no open areas to clog or wear, and no key to fret. Rear pump out vanes with cutting slots repel and chop any material that gets behind the impeller. The wearing parts: The cutting bar and rear cutting teeth are easily and inexpensively replaceable. High Hydraulic Efficiency
		Suction Spool Chop-Flow has a large inspection cover to easily remove most obstructions.  Cover is Ductile Iron for corrosion resistance unlike competitor's flimsy plate steel. Entire suction spool is a one-piece Ductile Iron.  Competitors use a combination of plate steel welded to an iron flange. Designed to maintain a smooth flow through the suction spool. Pump feet are solid Ductile Iron and are part of the suction spool.  Competitors use flimsy plate steel that bolt on.
		Volute Large casing is made of Ductile Iron Discharge side of volute also has an inspection port. No Shims.  Clearances are externally adjustable.
		Bearing Frame Large bearing frame design. Clearances are externally adjustable without moving the pump!  Some competitors require that you unbolt their pump from the pad & move it towards the suction pipe or move the suction pipe towards the pump causing pipe strain.
		Other Features Available with packing and all conventional mechanical seals, flushed or flushless. Although the pump is completely new technology, it is dimensionally interchangeable with your present pump. Simply remove the old technology, and the Chop-Flow will bolt up to your existing piping and coupling. Top quality materials and castings throughout - no flimsy fabricated parts to corrode.
