Wright Pump's TRA400 series centrifugal pumps' robust design and high quality materials of construction make it the right choice for both high-purity and sanitary fluid transfer. The TRA400 series is available in many options to meet the needs of all areas of food processing, beverage, cosmetic and pharmaceutical manufacturing worldwide.

Ultra-pure centrifugal construction uses wetted parts entirely machined from solid 316L stainless steel forged bar and plate or other high quality alloys. The TRA400 series' fully adjustable head orientation provides unmatched installation flexibility. Seal options include single, double, internal and external with commercial seals available upon request.

The TRA400 series' innovative Softsterile™ back plate system uses exclusive straight-line internal seal flushing with fully drainable flow paths you can easily inspect. The TRA400 series also eliminates the “dead leg” found in other centrifugal pumps due to its unique diaphragm valve body machined directly into its casing. This permits a flush face fit with the pumps’ interior contour, allowing the diaphragm to be swept continuously with product during operation to achieve true Zero Dead-Leg casing drain. The patent-pending Zero Dead-Leg drains are a half-inch in diameter; larger sizes are available upon request.

A cast version in 316L stainless steel is also available with standard clamp style connections machined in place - for a no weld alternative. Its exterior surfaces are machined or polished to provide no "as cast' surfaces. All models include stainless steel flange adapters, and are shipped with comprehensive material certification and testing documentation to support Installation Qualification.
